If there is a problem in a specific area, VOM can detect and reduce the problem quickly without pain or injury. It is similar to Chiropractic care in that it can restore function and reduce pain. It uses a hand-held device that is used in popular human chiropractic technique known as the "Activator Method" but should not be confused or compared to that practice.

What should I expect from VOM treatments? You may see a response while your pet is on the examination table - it can be that fast! The average case will see some sort of positive response within the first week. Sometimes the symptoms appear to be gone within the first three adjustments - however, additional treatments may be required in some animals. Cases that show no response within one month or cases that have had paralysis or lack of function for years may not respond to VOM.
